Faith put into action, every single Monday.
Feed The People is a community outreach initiative of the Parish of St Sophia and Three Daughters, under the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. Every Monday, a team of dedicated volunteers gathers in Surry Hills to serve people in need.
What began as a small act of generosity has grown into a regular weekly outreach, providing hot meals, warm drinks, clothing, blankets, hygiene supplies, and essential items to individuals experiencing hardship across Sydney.
The mission is rooted in a simple belief: every person deserves kindness and dignity. No one should go hungry or feel unseen. Everyone is welcome. No one eats alone.
"Feed The People is an expression of our living faith, putting the love of Christ into action and sharing His light with all who come to us. Each person we meet is a child of God, worthy of kindness and understanding."

The parish provides not only the spiritual foundation for the outreach but also the physical space, the organisational support, and the family of volunteers who make every Monday possible.
